Titusville Police are investigating the drowning death of an adult female on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
At approximately 1:30 PM, officers responded to report of a body floating in a retention pond near the entrance of Sand Point Park and North Washington Avenue
The preliminary investigation revealed multiple witnesses reported to officers the victim was recently seen in the park and appeared highly intoxicated.
The victim’s body was recovered from the water and pronounced deceased at the scene.
This incident remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion by investigators.
