Titusville Man Arrested for Sexual Acts on Child

On November 30th 2021 TPD arrested Christopher Kirkpatrick on 10 charges of sexual activity with a minor in custodial authority and 16 charges of lewd lascivious molestation with a victim under 12 years old.

On November 26th 2021, Titusville Police Department and Department of Children and Families received a report from the child victim that stated Kirkpatrick touched her inappropriately “on her privates”, outside of her clothing, at a Thanksgiving dinner.

A witness told investigators that weekend they observed Kirkpatrick at the Thanksgiving dinner in a room kneeled down to the child victim with his hand on the child victim’s groin area.

The witness said that when Kirkpatrick noticed the witness in the room, he left with his children, and then the witness informed the child victim’s parents.

A Forensic interview was conducted at the Child Advocacy Center in Rockledge with the child victim and another child victim.

During the interview, both child victims told investigators that they were touched inappropriately by Kirkpatrick. The first child victim initially told investigators that it only happened twice, but later stated it happened “every single time I see him.” The child victim told investigators of numerous times over several years where Kirkpatrick would touch her inappropriately.

When Titusville Police arrested Kirkpatrick at his residence on Westwood Drive, he admitted to investigators in an interview to sexually abusing the child victim since 2019. Kirkpatrick told Police that he was sexually attracted to children.

Kirkpatrick told police that the second child victim was too old for his preference and he did not have access to her as often.

Kirkpatrick is being held in the Brevard County Jail with a No Bond status and is currently charged with:

• 2 Counts of Sexual Activity with Minor by Person in Custodial Authority
• 17 Counts of Lewd, Lascivious, Molestation – Victim under 12, Offender over 18

All charges carry a Life Sentence.
