Titusville Police joins the Neighbors app, allowing Quick Response to Residents Concerns

Last updated on January 5, 2022

A recent post on the Neighbors App from Detective Brandon Williams with the Titusville Police Department marked the Police Department joining the app to help respond to and possibly help lower the crime in the city.

Detective Williams wrote that the Police Department can view what local residents have posted publicly to Neighbors and can now chime-in with relevant updates or safety alerts to help residents stay informed.

We are excited to be joining Neighbors in our efforts to connect with residents and improve the safety of our communities. Neighbors allows you, the user, to share photos, videos, and information related to local crime and safety incidents so fellow residents can stay informed.

Detective Williams wow, “Residents can also provide surveillance video footage pertaining to investigative requests generated by the Titusville Police Department.”

You do not need a Ring device to join Neighbors. Anyone with a smartphone can download the Neighbors App in order to receive updates and have the option to post photos or videos from any device.

Detective Williams reminds residents to always report criminal activity or emergencies directly to the Titusville Police Department by contacting 321-264-7801. For emergencies, always dial 911.
