Florida Forest Service is on scene of a new fire named “Columbia Fire” previously reported as “Whispering Fire” at Barna Ave. and Columbia Blvd. in Titusville.
The fire is two-acres in size at this time.
Authorities ask motorists to avoid the area if possible and find an alternate route as crews work to extinguish the blaze.
The fire is not a controlled burn, local officials say.
