Traffic investigators were looking into a crash that ended with two people dead in Volusia County Tuesday evening.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to County Road 415 near State Road 44 just after 6:30pm Tuesday and are still working to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
According to a crash report, a 69-year-old Edgewater man driving a motorcycle rear-ended a van being driven by a 78-year-old Titusville man. The Edgewater man died of his injuries at the scene, troopers said.
Troopers did not identify those involved in the crash.
The Titusville man was alert and walking around when troopers arrived, but suffered a medical episode and died at the scene. A 69-year-old Titusville woman suffered minor injuries as a passenger in the van.
Troopers were still conducting witness interviews and said there were conflicting statements about the circumstances of the crash, which remains under investigation.
