Applications Opening Monday for County Program for Small Business Relief

Last updated on August 26, 2021

On July 7th, the Brevard County Board of Commissioners authorized the use of federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding for operating a short-term economic relief program for small businesses dealing with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is expected to provide those local businesses with the opportunity to apply for a one-time only grant – in an amount not to exceed $10,000 – while program funding exists.

If you are interested in applying for this grant, please go to https://www.brevardfl.gov/BrevardCARES/home,

beginning this Monday, July 27th.

Applications will only be accepted during a two-week period, beginning July 27th, so you are advised to apply quickly.

There is also a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the program available on their website.
